An Explanation of Increased Hits.  Boy do I feel like a dumbass.

As I went through the whole blog compiling my “Best Of” list, I used a different browser to go day by day and grab the post titles and URLs.  Because this other browser was not logged in to WordPress, the stats program counted each page view as a hit, rather than ignoring it as coming from me.  D’oh!

(I figured it out when I realized that today’s stats said I received more than 400 hits and it wasn’t even 10 AM yet. Yeah, yeah, I know: I’m brilliant.  You don’t have to remind me.)

Exercise.  Making up for yesterday’s failure.  Also, I plan to exercise each day for the remainder of the week, in an ill-conceived effort to make up at the last-minute for my dieting failures over the past 60 days.  Given that I know fat-loss is driven by diet not exercise, I expect this to be a rousing success.

Plan for Week 52.  The final week….

I had yet another Cheat Day yesterday.  My guess is that, like last year, these final two months of the year have seen my gain 15-20 pounds.  I hope not; I haven’t weighed myself so I can’t be sure.  We’ll see. =(
