Gold's Gym Platinum Assisted Power Tower

The Next Big Thing.  Yesterday, as we had our carpets cleaned, Mrs. NJ and I put together a new bit of equipment I got from Craigslist: a Gold’s Gym Platinum Assisted Power Tower.

Since the guy who owned it before me had many parts already put together, it only took about 45 minutes to reconnect the major pieces.

It has assist bands for doing pull-ups.  Who would’ve thought I’d finally get the chance to do actual “assisted pull-ups” . . . after I finished the assisted pull-ups part of the program. o_O

I’m excited to do so many exercises on this: push-ups, pull-ups, knee raises, dips, etc.  It’s gonna be sweet! =)

Running.  Yesterday, I went around White Rock Lake for the first time.  It was my fourth longest run to date.  I felt good, mostly, until my knees started bothering me about halfway through.  Gotta be careful about that.

Plan for Week 44.  Back to basics though this may change a bit.  We’re celebrating a birthday this week and may do something for it.
