Week in Review.  This week was really good: I got back to my normal plan (one Free Day and solid fasting/SCD the rest of the week) and, for the first time in a while, I hit all my goals for the week in both diet and exercise.

Results Well that was unexpected.

I knew I was up last week, despite having not weighed myself, but I didn’t think I was like this.

Well you know what? Fuck the numbers.

I feel good. I think I’m looking better. The goddamn scale can kiss my ass.


Running.  This morning’s run was so-so. I hate coming back to running after some time off.

Review. Last time I ran was two weeks ago. Fourteen days may not sound like much but they seem to make a big difference in how I feel on the road.

Maybe it was because I forgot my supplements this morning, but I doubt it.

My first two miles went well — about a 10:30 pace which is good (for me anyway). The next few were OK, too. The last few? Not so much.

As usual, I stopped and had The Sacrament of Coffee midway through. And I stopped and bought doughnuts about a mile and a half from home.

(Mrs. NJ marvels that I can jog while carrying a bag of doughnuts. ;-))


* Since I didn’t weigh in last week, I’m comparing this week’s numbers to those of two weeks ago.
