Week in Review. This week was really good: I got back to my normal plan (one Free Day and solid fasting/SCD the rest of the week) and, for the first time in a while, I hit all my goals for the week in both diet and exercise.
Plan Reality for Week 42.
Red = a negative deviation | Green = a positive deviation | Blue = a note
The Results. I feel good. I feel like I look better. Do I really give a crap about what the numbers say? Sadly, yes.
Let’s go to the table:
|Week 00: 110101||228.5||29.7||67.9|
|Week 40: 111008||200.6||25.2||50.5|
|Week 41: 111015||N/A|
|Week 42: 111022||206.5||26.0||53.6|
|Δ from last*||+5.9||+ 0.8||+ 3.1|
|Δ from start||-22.0||-3.7||-14.3|
Results Well that was unexpected.
I knew I was up last week, despite having not weighed myself, but I didn’t think I was like this.
Well you know what? Fuck the numbers.
I feel good. I think I’m looking better. The goddamn scale can kiss my ass.
Running. This morning’s run was so-so. I hate coming back to running after some time off.
- Distance: 6.32 mi
- Duration: 1:17:58
- Average Pace: 12:20/ mi
- Average Speed: 4.87 mph
- Calories Burned: 997
- Climb: 279
Review. Last time I ran was two weeks ago. Fourteen days may not sound like much but they seem to make a big difference in how I feel on the road.
Maybe it was because I forgot my supplements this morning, but I doubt it.
My first two miles went well — about a 10:30 pace which is good (for me anyway). The next few were OK, too. The last few? Not so much.
As usual, I stopped and had The Sacrament of Coffee midway through. And I stopped and bought doughnuts about a mile and a half from home.
(Mrs. NJ marvels that I can jog while carrying a bag of doughnuts. ;-))
