Day 121 (Su, 110501) — Veggies From Hell diet (VFHD), Day 1

First day of the Veggies From Hell diet (VFHD).

Got my before numbers (after a Free Day yesterday)  so I am ready to go!

Meal #1 at 9:15 AM:
Coffee, Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers Healthy Colors Market Blend with carrots, zucchini, roma tomatoes, yellow pepper strips in an herb-infused extra virgin olive oil sauce.

About 100 calories, 2.5g fat, 17.5g carbs, and 2.5g protein.

I wonder if I can make it to 1:15 when I’m scheduled to take my next meal…..

Oh, and I have already drunk about 40 ounces of water, including the coffee.

Breaking updates as they occur here on the New John Diet Channel……. 😉

  1. Your body must be wondering “what’s going on here?” I know you don’t normally do veggies, so this is so funny to watch… Cheering you on!!

    • Look back at my posts last week . . . me and veggies? We’re like this.*

Seriously, though, I think that finding those steam-in-a-bag “meals” has really made a big difference.

If I had to cut up and steam and flavor a bunch of veggies for each meal, I think this would be MUCH harder than it is proving to be.

Hunger-wise, it’s not a big deal. Though, I admit, I am hungry now (mostly because I’m almost an hour late in eating my second meal of the day).
